New Render Buckets Mode Plugin / Tangram Buckets
Polytown released today, its first plugin for 3d studio max and any render engine that integrates with it – The Tangram Render Bucket Mode Plugin! This special bucket mode is dedicated to all those who, despite all possible rational reasons, remain seated in front of the screen watching the usual square buckets progress. The development team at Polytown thought it would be cool to make a puzzle mind game out of it so you can better utilize this, otherwise, wasted time.

Railway Sleepes Impregnation Plant by Lech Sokolowski
Lech Sokolowski debuts on the forum with a great set of renders of the Railway Sleepes Impregnation Plant located in western Poland. A commercial work done in two weeks time. Considering most of it was done by Lech alone (aside from the cars and vegetation) this is very impressive. The scene was rendered in 3dsmax using V-Ray, but was modeled in Blender actually. The end result is full of detail and has a painterly / simcity like feel to it, which I personally like very much and it makes a rather industrial context look very inviting.
Making of Trojan House by Christian Behrendt
The Trojan House by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects was first posted on the blog in the inspiration section, and later followed by a Render vs. Photo of the Trojan House post based on Christian Behrendt’s personal rendering project. I now publish his making of Trojan House using Cinema 4D (C4D) and V-Ray for Cinema4D. Enjoy!
