Long text test – Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
I intend to do a full write-up of my process for every aspect of the image. But for now, here’s where I’m at. Still need to work on some details.
Hi,
Hope it isn’t too late for some work process…
The first image that came to my mind when I saw the Tham & Videgård´s School of Architecture building in the blog, is of a large ship sails nobly and comfortably in a quite water (Titanic like…)
I think of how to pour this “image” into the existing environment and take out the physical building and its surroundings from their reality context but with the same composition / proportions
I will try to create a cold and dramatic nighttime atmosphere and tell a different story about the structure and the environment. (Maybe like a “half fantasy” VR experience…)
Thanks for the challenge and opportunity !
After research and sketching, I decided to make a monumental composition rather than a detailed and complicated one. I wanted to create a calm and warm atmosphere of Indian summer – the time when the school year starts. As a result, the viewer has a feeling balanced environment to walk around. I decided to keep the foreground empty, without images in order to concentrate all attention on the building itself. I placed a couple of students in the background for better understanding of the building’s function.
The facade material inspired me to recreate it closer to natural, which was challenging.
The rhythm of windows, stairs, and lamps set the dynamics of the image. Also the reflections part is always fun for me i love to add some extra in it.I hope you guys like it.
This is an interesting experiment.
To start with it,
I was thinking for myself something different, camera angle, mood
there are differences,
There is a close look at Tomorrow’s work.
That is extremely important for this competition.
