Waiting for Departure
Indoor-Outdoor Connection
The house sits in an open landscape and ensuring an optimum indoor-outdoor connection. A simple facade and massing focuses attention on the house’s relationship with its landscape and opens directly to the street disrupting commonly defined boundaries of public and private space in a suburban street. The site is open. Passers by can, if they chose to, navigate around the house and experience its settings.
AASHIYANA which basically means HOME in hindi language.It is a residence designed in the vicinity of forest, Nested around the nature.Basically it was designed as a weekend house so that the user can have a relaxing weekend in the lap of nature.The presence of large tree influence the project in a positive way also created a great impact in terms of light and shadow.
