I’m super happy to share with you today the MAKING OF “Frozen in Time” by Marcin Jastrzebski. This was picked as Best of Week 05/2018 and was his entry for an Evermotion Challenge in which he tried 3d Rendering with Photography Approach… focused on slow shutter speeds and how that can turn out in a render. Enjoy!
An image was inspired by some steamy Asian cities and Fargo series atmosphere. It turned into something different but still has its roots I guess.
Since Arnold renderer is my prefered choice of weapon to use on 3dsmax, problems such as making 4k textures pop out takes some time to perfect. On the other hand, its generally easier to use on exteriors along with short render times.
We hit the nail on the head on the wet cabro tiles on the extrerior shots. They came out better than expected. My issue though is, why 3d artists dont use arnorld renderer?

A simple and natural shape for a cultural centre that embraces a green park resembling a bivalve pouch. As usual a tight deadline can push you to describe at its best even a bunch of lines and a simple concept for a space of culture and aggregation. It’s always rewarding when the final goal is locked in the architect’s mind but we have the freedom to describe it in the way we picture it.
