I’m very happy to share with you today, the making of “Residence VDB” by Vasyl Korol. Done as part of an Evermotion competition, and based on a house by Govaert & Vanhoutte Architects. Vasyl used 3dsmax 2017, Corona Renderer and Photoshop to create the images in this beautiful set. Enjoy!
Karim Mousa’s Egyptian ethnicity led to many “descendant of the Pharoah” jokes in the five years he lived in Bergen, Norway working for the highly regarded visualization studio Mir. If only his colleagues had known his true claim to fame was as a former international Taekwondo champion. The scene and visuals he’ll cover in this article were created for a BECG Course called BePro Black Chair – CGI Photography some time ago, specifically aimed towards those who want to learn how to correctly set the V-Ray physical camera like a real DSLR camera and understand the V-Ray lights to simulate any kind of light situation. CABINS, The 7th Architectural Visualization Challenge, was soft-launched yesterday with information to be shared during this week leading up to the Monday start day. As part of this, I’m sharing the making-of the CABINS concept art on the challenge site. I used good old pen & paper, SketchUp, Lumion, Megascans assets and Photoshop.
