Vinicky by David Sandrik

This is my last personal project. It is a simple visualisation of the bathroom situated in the interior of small house in wine yards designed by MAPA architects. They are involved in designing this small structure and I borrowed their clean space to experiment a little. I wanted to try some new techniques in this scene which we do not use usually in the studio. Some custom furnishing was added, for example I used lamp designed by Apparatus. Corona Volume shader was applied on a soap and 3d scan was made for the stool. I need to mention there are some shaders using assets from Megascans which was new to me. I rendered this scene with Corona in 3dsMax.

CG rendering made it possible to highlight the impressiveness and magnitude of this luxurious apartment house. Thanks to 3D visualization, the house is presented from a suitable angle so that one could observe the building in detail.

Just take a look at CG render for levadia black marble stairs and glazing of the building – they look fantastic and photoreal on the image, let alone the fountain which is the central element of the whole composition. And even though the construction is under development, the viewer can already visually imagine the cars parking near the house and passers-by crossing the building and wondering about its incredible beauty.

Rare Air by Shannon McVey

I’m always trying new techniques in an attempt to push my abilities and renderings to the next level. This image was inspired by a book I received about Japanese dwellings. In the book there is a photograph of a living space looking out into a deeply forested environment which I found evocative.

My model seemed claustrophobic upon review so I decided to open up the view to the most dramatic expanse I could imagine and change it to an expansive shot of a high mountain lake.

I am also working on incorporating models of real-world items captured by photogrammetry and inserting them into my scenes in order to add that extra element of realism that pulls in the viewer’s interest.

I have found that using the native color settings in Lumion brings a vibrance to the final image that while beautiful, is a bit saturated for most scenes. Luckily the ability to manage this is handled well within Lumion with the use of some of the built-in effects.

This image represents an ideal environment for me personally and I hope to provide through my work the kind of life that could provide a view like this for my daughter and wife to gaze upon like the fearless young lady in the image.

After Rain by Kavish

Hello everyone,

I am Kavish Hashain from Delhi (INDIA). It’s been More then 4 years for me in the field of CG architecture.

Before we get started, I’d like to thank TMRW for the Tomorrow 2018 challenge.

This Project was made for the TMRW challenge, which I had focused on atmosphere & photo-realism, this project is based in Sweden.

For this project, I used Autodesk 3Ds Max 2015,V-Ray, Adobe Photoshop Software.

I will show you how far I got into detailing & shading.
