Office 2226 by Jan Morong

Hi everyone,
few shots of the new project – inspired by Baumschlager – Eberle Architekten and their simple brilliant design of the Office building 2226 in Lustenau, Austria. Complete scene is full CG, only color correction in PS. I´d like to hear your comments & critics or feedback – which areas need to improve 🙂 Thanks in advance.
Software: 3ds max, Corona renderer, PS & Camera Raw

Lost America: The Reconstruction of 7 Great US Buildings by Laurentiu Stanciu

A brick and mortar building can elicit a sense of nostalgia and longing. But why are we so fascinated with the buildings of the past? Perhaps it’s the mix of familiarity and strangeness that draws us in – we see a street we know so well, but with a time-traveling intruder atop it.
In celebration of some of America’s most beautiful and interesting lost buildings, we’ve reconstructed seven in their original location. Discover how these structures from the past painted the skyline compared to how these locations look today.

GH House by Piotr Kasprzak

Fresh visualizations of GH House which was theme on Architectural Visualization Challenge on Ronen Beckerman website back in 2010.
It was a really long time ago and I do not take part in this Challenge, but I thought it will be fun to create new set of visualizations of this building.

All renderings was done using 3ds max and Corona Render. Vegetation was created using Forest Pack (trees models are from builtin library) and GrowFx (tall grass models).
Postwork was done in Affinity Photo. It is pretty neat replacement of Photoshop.

One image was test of simulation of infrared photography (made in postwork). If the leaves are pink, that’s the right one.

Hope you like it!
