YN HOUSE by Mugabi Herbert

The client was interested in remodeling his residence and he said he wanted something modern. For me, this meant straight clean lines and forms.
To get me started, i looked for inspiration which was mainly Jesolo Lido Pool Villa in Italy.
The project space was quite small and intimate. So for the exterior i thought to have a timber cladding to bring contrast to the neighboring houses. The interiors are also minimalistic with white walls and ceiling so as to allow for good natural light reflection. The ground floor was opened up with huge bi folding doors at the front and back to allow for clear views through the space, bring in more natural light and create an indoor-outdoor relationship.

A spiral-shaped museum sits on the mountain peak, overviewing the panoramic landscape.
The Shot was taken from a higher level, which appeared to be highlighting an infinity shape formed by the museum and the road turn below.

Architectural Christmas Tree by Archigeum

This project was created as a festive version of the front elevation of the office building. I got the idea of it playing with lighting in Corona image editor. Its inbuilt light mixer gives a lot of flexibility and creative freedom.
